Elmer says he is releasing the information "in order to educate society". The list includes "high net worth individuals", multinational conglomerates and financial institutions – hedge funds". They are said to be "using secrecy as a screen to hide behind in order to avoid paying tax". They come from the US, Britain, Germany, Austria and Asia – "from all over".Frightening that the government is rendered powerless in causing the website to crash momentarily. Except for Elmers first round of leakage, when U.S. Supreme Court Judge Bear Stearns managed to dismantle communication to Wikileaks, due to free speech groups speaking out as well as media corporations. Yet the battle continues, with governments shaking in their boots.

Debating Wikileaks in the Political Setting
Wikileaks has caused one of the largest internet scandals since piracy lawsuits against the peer to peer music sharing program Napster. Not only does the leader of Wikileaks Julian Asange have american cooperation's such as Bank of America in a full nelson, but the military intelligence contained in the documents he is threatening to have possession of has already ruined the lives of many. Another aspect of the scandal is the amount of money it will cost to go into court, "Lawyers acting on behalf of Wikileaks have billed the document leaking origination for about 30,000 euros in services." This could grow exponentially, since the U.S. government has taken a huge action in trying to decipher just what Julian Asange has acquired. Not only does this span from the U.S., Swiss and Swedish profiles have been caught up in the madness of relinquishing key information. Wikileaks was once temporarily forced to shut down three years ago thanks to a Swiss banker Rudolf Elman, lending major information on tax evasion to the website. Reasons for Elmers actions seem simple, yet cause political rage for the variety in different countries individual involvement in undocumented crime.
